i've got matt davis as our chief of trauma service and dr. harry constantino to his right who is the chairman department of surgery. we're here to give you an update of the activities we've been involved with about 5:00 today when we were contacted by the authorities at ft. hood and began accepting patients coming over. first i'd like to extend my condolences to the victims and their families tonight. we know there's been a lot of people suffering with physical injuries and the emotional trauma of what has been going on. so far, we have received -- we've accepted nine patients who have been sent over from the fort. we have eight of them are currently in our facility now receiving care. there's still one more who should be arriving shortly. so this situation appears to be, at this point, pretty well contained. and that's the extent of the folks that we're anticipating getting in our facilities for further care. all of these patients are in icu, three in critical condition, and the remaining are all seriously injured. we have seven male patient
