dr. dean anderson is a chiropractor at front range medical center, which is a an integrated health clinic, and he's here to discuss an advancement in treatment that's providing great results and offering hope for many of those suffering from neuropathy. hey, thanks for being here. thanks for having me. so tell us exactly what is peripheral neuropathy. and patients that come to see you, what are they dealing with? most patients we see have been dealing with this for a long period of time. so we see a lot of patients who are frustrated, they sometimes feel lost because they've been told nothing else can be done, and then they're just having to deal with the side effects of decreased quality of life. you know, oftentimes it they can't sleep at night. they suffer with a lot of burning pain,. they have numbness or they have issues with balance, and it's very frustrating. what causes it? well the majority of cases we see are caused by blood sugar but there can be a number of things, whether it's toxicities, side effects of medications, and some cases are idiopathic, we don't know the cause. all
