dr. garcia has raised for us from a continuation of working together to try to continue to move forward on services. that might also be reflected in some of our issues in terms of the alzheimer's and what not. the intent we could place the organizations together willing to move. it's all part of health care is dynamic and moving. can we actually have a resolution that then could say that these are changes that can make sense are not going to harm but even serve our community better. is that something we could work towards? >> we could certainly work toward that dr. chow. we could certainly try. we all understand part of this proposition to process is to have a public hearing of the changes that are going to be made. and i'm sure the commissioners understand that ultimately the decision to make those changes are hospitals and foundations but we work very closely with the departments to make sure that what we are doing is as fair and equitable as it can be so we are happy to take that back to our team and work with director garcia and her staff. >> right, i would just like to see we could me

[applause] >> dr. sven for his leadership and ingenuity. we knew he would get the loudest applause and he deserves it. our department of homelessness and their partnership in leadership as well. and all the other providers and healthcare leaders that are behind me here today that are working so hard every single day in san francisco. to get those that are on our streets with the help that they need. whether it's homelessness or drug addiction or the other issues plaguing those on our streets, our goal in san francisco is to be compassionate and get people off the streets, on to their own two feet and on to better lives. thank you for being here today and with that i love to turn it over to director garcia for remarks. garcia? >> yes, again, thank you, dr. aragon. we did a short, quick update through my director's report regarding our epic update, and there was a question from the commissioners on that, and i did want someone to come and speak on that. >> okay. please. >> let me take you through this. >> could you speak more into the microphone. >> i surely will. >> thank you. >> so i was going to take you through a little guide of our epic phases. i'm currently the acting director positiof d.p.h. and we for the original implementation of envision c.p.r. next month will mark my 20th anniversary with d.p.h. so epic is however much larger than any of our previous implementations, and -- let me get the presentation up for you. should be seeing that on your screen. it's much larger, like i said, than anything else that we've done in the past. but we are ready for it. we've been preparing for quite sometime, and i want to take you through a few things that we're doing to prepare for it. we are continuing to update the equipment in the network for th
