[ laughter ] >> so, um, so today we're talking about distemper because i have seen a case of that and it's actually prevalent now in the bay area. we don't really think about it that much because we have been vaccinating for decades so we don't see it but we are actually seeing it. so a reminder to make sure your pets are vaccinated correctly with the protocol that's recommended by the veterinary institutions. this is a viruses that usually transmitted through the air. so keeping your dog away from another dog is not necessarily going to keep your pet safe. you need to actually be mindful when you have a puppy who hasn't been vaccinated to keep the dog in doors until your veterinarian tells us it's okay. it's almost uniformly fatal. almost. every once in
