dr. jill chase... ? >>> lots of pets will be getting treats and toys for the holiday. to chat about that is dr. jill chase with bogey who is making his second appearance. 40 pounds about five or six months ago? he weighs what, more than that. >> it's bode. things safe to get your dogs for the holidays. i think what i'd like to say if it's something you're giving your dog all along there's no problems that's fine. but the things to talk about if you have never done it before, there could be a problem. so raw hides, i always recommend them but some dogs will chew them down to a size that's small enough that if they try to swallow it they can choke themselves and we have to do the heimlich. >> throw it away if they are small. >> another big problem is for whatever reason the bones that are sold at the pet stores sometimes cause severe gastrointestinal problems to the point where it can be fatal. so i would say if you have never done that before, maybe don't get that. also, i wanted to talk about balls. you saw like the different size balls? some people like to get the sma
