dr. kevin campbell explains why this is happening and how to prepare for it.ought it was my imagination. the last week or so, my eyes are itching. i'm saying this is the worst allergy season ever. lots of people saying it. it's actually true. why is it so bad this season? >> it's interesting. we've had a wet cold winter. when you have a wet cold winter followed by a dry spring, which we've had for the most part, it tends to make the pollen worse. also changes the way the trees bloom so we have a longer period of time where we have lots of pollen in the air. melissa: wow. so we really set ourselves up for this. after being punished all winter our reward is that we will itch for all of spring. some of the facts i was surprised about. 25% of the population suffers from some sort of allergy. pollen is the highest between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. that's when you get hit the hardest. i also thought that was my imagination. i'm like wow, this is really bad on the way to work. that's the worst time of day? >> it really is. if you're an allergy sufferer, you have to be

dr. kevin campbell. long time friend of the show. puty commissioner at the alabama department of revenue in charge of income tax fraud apprehensive. joe garrett. welcome to you both. dr. campbell i'll start with you. i understand you get a call from your accountant. that's how you heard about this. tell us what happened. >> like any good american, i filed my taxes on the last day. on wednesday. and i had a call from my accountant telling me that they were refused from both the federal and the state. the reason was they had been filed on february 28th previously. so we obviously knew at that point my social security number had been comprised. and someone had fraudulently filed my federal and state returns. >> were you able to follow back and figure out how it was stolen? >> well, the interesting thing, we got very little help from the feds. we did go to the department of revenue and found out someone got a hold of my w-2 from my hospital system and filed a return with my name, my social security number, and my address with last year's
