dr. lisa bardack, that is secretary clinton's doctor. her physician.ement, that's where we got that piece of information new to us today that on friday during a follow-up evaluation of that pro longed cough related to allergies, that she was diagnosed with pneumonia and then she was put on antibiotics at that time and advised to rest and modify her schedule. that was a portion of that statement that came from dr. lisa bardack. now to morgan radford, on top of this story for us there in chappaqua. there, as secretary clinton, you know, as she was moved from 9/11, she made her way to her home there in new york. you were there, and, morgan, what was the sense of the energy around this? were there a lot of vehicles, a rush or just a matter of step by step by step? >> secret service and local law enforcement were here to protect her home and also usher her inside the cul-de-sac at the home she shares with former president bill clinton. they lived here since they left 1600 pennsylvania avenue in 2000 and this is where they spend their time when in new york.

dr. lisa bardack, she had a small right middle lobe pneumonia. how serious is that and what's important in these records? >> what happens, don, is somebody will get a upper respiratory track infection and descend into the lungs and if people get more symptoms, more coughing and a low grade fever, and it's period of time tent if the symptoms become more severe, to investigate to see whether there's collection of infection which we call pneumonia and she had one -- a small one in the areas of her lungs. that's basically it. i've seen many patients, especially over the last couple months i've seen the same kind of situation, but it happens to be one that responds to antibiotics, extra fluids and rest and people get better and they get back to whatever it is they need to do. we're ranking quite a bit one of the most common illnesses and it's been handled perfectly well. >> i got an e-mail from the former head coach of lsu, saying i heard people on your show talking about pneumonia as if it's a cold. i thought it was something that's extremely serious
