dr. nassar.irst one said he was sorry the women had misinterpreted his medical procedures and he would like to meet with me the following morning. about an hour later i got another e-mail from him that said his wife urged him to talk to his lawyer fir. i responded to that one, and a little later his lawyer called me and he wanted to know about the allegations we had and also wanted to talk about setting up a meeting, an interview. >> and what did he say when you presented him with these allegations? >> well, initially the attorney spoke on dr. nassar's behalf initially and he denied the allegations. that attorney left dr. nassar not long after our interview, and i don't believe he knew the whole story. i think his denial was based on dr. nassar's story to him. about four days later i drove to grand rapids, michigan from indianapolis and met with dr. nassar and his attorney in the attorney's office in grand rapids. we were together for about 30 to 45 minutes. as interviews go, it wasn't that produ

the 20—year—old has accused this man, dr larry nassar, of sexual abuse.ady serving a prison sentence for possessing indecent images of children, and faces more charges later this month. andrew plant reports. she is a four—time olympic champion. with 19 combined world and olympic medals, she is america's most decorated gymnast. now, in a statement, the star of the rio games has said that she was sexually abused by the former teen usa gymnastics sports doctor, larry nassar. nassar has already been jailed, sentenced to 60 years for possessing indecent images of children. he has also been accused by other gymnasts of sexual abuse, has admitted sexual assault in two cases and will be sentenced this month. her talent clear from a young age, simone biles is regarded by many as the greatest to ever have performed in her sport. teammates said the abuse happened under the guise of treatment. in a statement, simone said she won't allow the doctor to steal her love and joy. he was challenged in december after child pornography was found on his computer. simone biles

dr. larry nassar. dozen survivors expected to speak today as the hearing enters the second remarkable week. more than 90 accusers have already addressed the court. this comes as nassar's former boss, the michigan state university president, is now facing calls to resign. cnn's jean casarez live for us in lansing, michigan, with the very latest. jean? >> reporter: you know, john, more and more victims are coming forward. we even just heard that some had come forward over the weekend. but we're hearing new comments, new territory they're veering into today. some of these victims are saying that dr. nassar's medical treatment didn't work. the 95th victim that just spoke said she's had seven back surgeries because what he did just didn't help. one of the victims, and the only one, was not an athlete. and she, her parents are medical professionals and they were friends with larry nassar and his wife. she was first sexually assaulted when she was in kindergarten at his house while her parents were there, her
