dr. pepper an snapple buying bui water. rob, the master limited partnerships, the pipelines, why?owned and traded mlps for a very long time i think this is a trade. the reason there's been a lot of volatility is there's not a lot of institutional ownership in the asset class. that's beginning to change you're starting to see some of the private equity firms come in and buy assets you're starting to see value investors identify value, but i don't think it's going to happen until next year. one of the reasons is, is that mlps are one of those assets that are down this year. if you're thinking about tax law selling, you're going to continue to do that into year end. there was also some overhang related to this tax bill as we march into next year and you get some of this fundamental value and you understand the need for energy infrastructure isn't the u.s. and how you move those assets is through midstream pipelines, there is value there and i think you could see a big rotation into that space, especially if oil prices head up a little bit and interest rates don't move too much higher

dr pepper. joe: the production cuts in from, we think of china the demand side mostly.s gone up, there must be a lot of demand in china. tell us more about china from the supply side of the occasion. they said we want you guys to stop production for least a week as we reassess pollution. the pollution control thing has been huge in china. it is affecting the copper space. only about 9% of global production, but it still matters in the grand scheme of things. you're talking 50% of global demand is in china. if the chinese themselves are saying let's put a hold on our own guys, as production cuts back and questions up unprecedented wage talks for next year with all the miners across the globe, especially in chile, then we have even more compounding that leads to while we are seeing what we are seeing. julie: just a quick look at the bloomberg, aluminum also has been surging. tell me about the demand side of the patient. what this implies to me is that we've seen a lot of manufacturing growth around the globe. is that part of what is going on? >> absolutely. global growth

dr. pepper. 90% of their revenues, all three of these companies, come from the united states.oing to benefit, again, 5% to 10%, from this tax break. also these companies are growing, profitable, well capitaliz capitalized. even without the tax break we think these companies can outperform the s&p 500 with considerably less volatility, and all three of these companies as an added kicker have a rising dividend to them, of roughly 7% to 10%. >> david, i know that there's been a lot of question whether or not this bill would pass or not, but don't you think there would be nothose who -- companis like these, you're a smart guy, there are a lot of smart people out there who would see the same thing and get into these stocks beforehand just in case. i'm asking whether or not you think the tax bill is already factors into the pricing of these companies. >> surely you had a significant rally this week as it looked like the pass bill would pass. a lot of these stocks already have been trying to price better things we do think, this is the most important thing, if you get tax relief, not
