dr. sanders.gery, the blood thinner incident, angela's disappearance, the men in the bar. does he have any hard evidence? nothing. but he's convinced that she hasn't told him everything. has he talked about this with anybody else? i don't think so. burton: good to see you, jimmy. don't mean to put you on the spot. jimmy: please, i've known your kid since he was ten, happy to help. here you go. appreciate your help, as always. logan tells me you're still investigating dr. sanders. yeah. there are pieces that don't add up, and too many of them connect to her. so, what are you thinking? this is a personal thing with her and the nurse? or something more? what i'm going on is a hunch. the blood thinners, they weren't a mistake. you think dr. sanders is part of a plot to kill the president? maybe. well, if you're right, then there has to be some sort of motive. have you checked her financial records? logan is working on it. does she have a political history? not that i'm aware of, but i'll keep looking.

dr. price and senator sanders. >> thank you, mr. chairman. i want to commend you and senator murray for continuing to provide opportunity for exchange of ideas and gaining information. dr. elmendorf, welcome back once again. i was struck by your three conclusions, one, debt larger than after world war ii, two, debt will continue to rise and we are on your words an unsustainable path, and, three, that current law, if followed, will result in a decrease of congress' ability, the people's representatives ability, to provide prioritization and spending on defense and nondefense areas to a smaller level than any time in the last 50 years in 2017 and beyond. real fundamental change in the work that congress does. now i'm hopeful that we can reach a large agreement. i think we can reach an agreement. i'm not sure how large it can be, i'm hopeful that it is large, but i think we need to walk before we can run, likely. so my question is a specific question about sequester. the discretionary side of spending will decrease january 15th down to 965, 967 o

. >> senator bernie sanders of vermont, thank you so much for your time. joining me now is dr. kavita patel, managing director for clinical transportation and delivery at the engelford center for health care reform. she worked as a senior adviser to valerie jarrett in the obama administration. all right, last night, i came on this program and we ran a clip, a package that said, you're not helping. and we talked about the mary landrieu proposal, which looks in many ways similar to what the president outlined administratively today. the problem is, it looks like it is going to undo some of the risk pooling that you need to make these exchanges work in the first year. is this good policy, as someone who is an architect of this bill? >> yeah, thanks, chris. this is a really problematic policy for several reasons. and i actually just talked with one of the mayor insurers, who had canceled a good number of the policies that we're talking about. and they said, you know, the president is putting the responsibility on us. however, you know, you have to understand, even if we wanted to o
