robert driscoll on what is really new here. foundation spokesman, as you heard saying, is much adieu about nothing here. the clinton foundation does more good than bad and this keeps getting explored and dragged out. what are your thoughts on this? >> well, my thoughts are that this investigation is probably been going on and just became public now because a witness decided to talk. from the outside, it seems like there's enough there to investigate. you look at the donations to the foundation, plummeted once mrs. clinton lost the election and you look at the speaking fees for bill went up when she became secretary of state. it certainly seems that donors had in mind that they were getting something other than the kind of charitable activities that they're paying for. the they're paying for charitable activities, there shouldn't have been a huge dip if it wasn't connected to mrs. clinton's political career. that is where people are starting to look at to see if there's anything improper that went into some of those donations. >
