. >>> the exminnesota officer accused of killing duante wright was in court she said she grabbed her handgun instead of her taser by mistake. >> reporter: good morning, frances. this was a preliminary hearing, probable cause hearing the judge decided if there was reason to go forward to continue this case to trial neither prosecutors or defense disputed that. one important point the judge did make, it's in everyone's interest that the case be brought to justice feelings that led to protests out there. the officer, kim potter, faces second degree manslaughter charge some in the community and duante wright's family are looking for upgraded charges to murder no indication that's going to happen we have a trial date of december 6th. the attorneys will file various motions but the process is moving forward so the wright family perhaps taking some comfort in that as they watch this process move forward through a trial of the officer charged with second degree manslaughter now we have a tentative trial date of december 6th back to you. >> all right thank you, ron, for the update. >>> a $10
