we want to bring you outside wab live look at dublin. the temperatures sizzling right now in the east bay. triple digits for lots of people. let's bring in chief meteorologist jeff ranieri. jeff, how much longer are we going to have this heat around? >> well, i definitely think we'll see a break in the forecast once we hit sunday. this was record-setting. as far as we see it right now across parts of the bay area today, concord, as we take a look at the almanac, hit 103 degrees. that is besting the old record of 99 set back in 2014. also in livermore, with a high of 102 degrees, we are close to a record of 108, but it doesn't look like it was good enough for that today. but keep in mind, the average is just 88 for a lot of our interior valleys. so even though it gets hot during summer, this is well above our averages. now, right now in the hottest zone of contra costra and alameda counties, we're still tracking the warmest in brentwood at 107. 100 in pleasanton. 95 in doubleton. also 97 in lafayette. notice this change right here in oakl
