golden gate park, albert lake and to tho dubose park. during the previous extraction times, one that just ended, robberies are down 60% this time this year. a trend that the city is falling as well, overall reduction in the robberies. however, burglaries, as many of you have read, burglaries have been on the increase, specifically with regard to the deaths of bicycles from multi unit apartment buildings. the flip side of having this is also the burglary arrests are of 220% year to date from last year, as evidenced by outstanding address -- addrrress about a guy scratching off the number of a bicycle handle the other day and the search showed that of the things in his possession were stolen. he is going to be going back to jail. his probation is being held and revoked. excellent arrest. we have made several since i have become the commanding officer of bicycle thieves. we look forward to serving more. the focus of my newsletter is awareness and getting your neighbors and building owners to take measures into securing the entrances. usuall

the line at church and the bows -- dubose, continuing the streetscape upgrades. we have added in some switched replacements in the outer sunset. a lot of work happening. a lot of good repair needs being met. a little bit of disruption. but we have been able to manage both the noise and the traffic impact. we have had very little in the wake of complaints. wake of complaints. it is great to see this work

they planned to close down church and dubose streets for some major rail reconstruct work but the rainy weather has put the project on hold. it is rescheduled until next weekend, that is, if the weather cooperates. >>> okay. we want to check in with sal on this rainy morning. sal? >> i want to mention a problem we only have in the bay area in napa. a truck was spilled a bunch of wine bottles. those left-turn lanes there are blocked. it would make sense. so be careful if you are driving in that area. it's going to be slow. this is highway 4 weekend. the traffic here looks better than it normally does. if you are taking highway 4, don't use highway 242. stay on 680 and go south from there. there have been crashes. maybe there's something there causing crashes. i wouldn't risk it. i would seuss -- i would use 680 instead. there is a stall on the bridges. there is a vehicle there. they are gonna get on there and try to push that vehicle off. as we look at the south bay, northbound 2le 0 -- 280, 101, it's better today than it was. today it's still not great but it's better than it was yester
