a massive statue of duke ellington is on its way to a new neighborhood. it's going to be put in the ellington plaza next to the historic howard theater at florida avenue and tee street northwest. tracy williams joining us via skype from northern virginia. tracee. >> we're following it right now. let me give you a closer look of what we're looking at. in front of us the is vehicle carrying the duke ellington statue there. this is a 20-foot-tall statue, but you're only seeing top part of it if you can can make that out there. it's a little blurry from where we are. here's a closer look of the statue. we're following it from manassas where they have stained and buffed the statue and made it what it's going look like when it's up there on florida avenue. we're following them to d.c. where they're going to set it up noft right across the street from the howard theatre. what is really exciting about this is they're calling this an encore. that's the name of the statue, on core. it is an encore because this is a renaissance for the area and a comeback for the how
