we tied the record today at dulles with 93, probably a little warmer tomorrow, prepare for that in the morning. the kids will not wake up saying do i need a jacket? they'll be like i need shorts and they will. we don't think we can count on any kind of cooling shower or thunderstorm, maybe a patch or two of fog late tonight. it even looks like a little might be showing up in this live shot looking at the washington monument. here's what you can expect, of course, mid-90s tomorrow. the record is 94 at reagan, i think it's 92 at dulles. we'll likely tie them if not exceed them. the cooler weather is coming. it will be here by sunday. we're taking it into the mid- 70s and that will finally feel like fall several days after officially starting. badly needed rain may also be in the forecast. we think decent showers are coming monday and tuesday on the current forecast and we put the question mark because the area of low pressure that we're watching is kind of a lone ranger and it will do what it wants to, but that's what we think will happen with it. tropical storm matthew also formed today
