this is the dulles project. the busiest intersecti in tyson's corner is going to be affected. 123 to route 7 westbound. they have closed that ramp for the next year. here's a look at what your new ramp looks like. drivers who use 123 to route 7, you will now have to access route 7 from this new exit just south international drive and the marriott courtyard hotel. when you see that, go ahead and get over to the right. that's going to take you on to route 7 westbound which will take you on to frontage road. and you will have to turn right to get to route 7 west. if you miss the ramp, ctinue south on 123, turn right on old courthouse road which intersects with route 7 in bo directions. now, there's plenty of signage up here to direct folks. and they will also have police out here in just a little bit to help direct thecars. the bottom line is this, if you'rerying to get to route 7 westbound from 123, when you see the courtyard marriott, get to your right and ta this ramp. that ramp will get youo where you need to g

it's all part of the dulles metro project. tracy kill kips is live with what you need to know if you're headed that way. >> reporter: good morning, eun. it a pretty simple change here. it can be confusing for folks who aren't expecting it. they do have signage up here. some cars have tried to adjust to this new traffic pattern they have here. we saw one vehicle actually take the ramp. then after standing there for a while and thinking twice about it, decided to try and back up on the ramp. very dangerous situation here. drivers who used 123 to route 7 you now have a new accss ramp to get to route 7. the new exit south of international drive and the marrtt courtyard hotel. it will take you t frontage road. if you missed that new ramp you will have to continue south on 1, turn right on old courthouse road which intersects with route 7 in both directions. it is really easy to get on . as soon as you see the courtyard marriott, go ahead and t in the right-hand lane. it will lead you to route 7 left. in the meantime, know this work
