dulles. a little warm tore the south of us. germantown now 72 degrees. temperatures really have not moved a whole lot all day long. now 71 degrees. they dropped 1 degree. howard university in the district looking at 72. our final stop alexandria now 75. winds not a problem. no rainfall but i can guarantee over the next 48 we may see upwards of an inch-and-a-half of much-needed rain. can't complain for this time of year. now 7 head over to the eastern shore. now the tremendous amount of cold air out there right now. chicago at 76. but this moving into northern minnesota the leading edge of the cold front is going to come plowing our way over during the day on tuesday bringing us a better chance for some heavier rain, some gusty winds and severe weather. the frontal system will come by. clouds stuck around for good part of the day. high pressure moves out of here. clouds to the west. as they move through the day tomorrow, clouds will increase and by late afternoon, especially out to the west we may see just a few stray showers. but most of the rain will hold off until the daytime hours on tuesday and we could be looking at some heavy rain off to the west of us especially
