as we've seen the rain pouring on the dumbarton bridge all the way up to san mateo, extending down to palo alto, and now across the bay, reaching into fremont as well as hayward. so that's where we are seeing the worst of the conditions. when that leading edge of that rain made it to the bay area, it also had some gusty winds, and the rain will continue for a little while longer. before we see this break, you can see the gap in the clouds. it's clearing there, but the next storm system is moving quickly and will be here on thursday. so here's a look at the timing for the rain in the north bay. we're taking a look at santa rosa. it's now 52 degrees and the heavy rain continues through 7:00. after that it gets lighter. and then the rest of the day we're seeing a mix of sun and clouds with a slight chance of a lingering shower. overall, once again, it is improving as we go throughout the day, and it looks like it's all clear by sunset this evening. tomorrow's also all dry, but then going into thursday, we start to see the scattered showers coming in with heavier rain late thursday night
