senator dick durbin is on a two day trip to ukraine. they will meet with members of the ukrainian government. also plans to meet with u.s. embassy officials ukrainian civil-rights activists and advocates for democracy. secretary of state john kerry met in london with his russian counterpart to try to head off a military showdown in ukraine. russia has 10,000 troops at the ukrainian border. the united states will take punitive action to isolate russia if they claim control. >> and employed workers collecting jobless benefits are one step closer to an extended deal. a bipartisan deal will extend by five months dating back to december. the benefits affect those out of work for six months or more. the full senate is expected to pass it. call residents might give refunds from the state's new tax on recreational marijuana. sets limits on taxes and government spending. if the state collects more than expected they could issue refunds. budget advisers say that could be as much as $100 million. voters could allow the state to keep the money. the
