tornado warnings across massachusetts, a couple of storms have been going across sullivan, ulster and dutchess, a few tried to flare up on the island, no dice there. we are watching some storms that are over the mid-atlantic and may just come far enough north that they get into southern ocean county during the evening showers. you can see them right here and our futurecast is actually showing that so we will watch the radar over the next couple of hours, meanwhile, high pressure coming in in good shape tomorrow and this storm trending south, that's good news for friday into saturday. here's your accuweather forecast, isolated storm early, then lowering humidity, 73, we are up to 87, it's a fantastic day, the best bet of the week. tomorrow night, mostly clear and comfy, 67. here's your seven day. clouds will increase on thursday, rain may be staying south on friday, at least the northern suburbs look dry and then those clouds should leave saturday leaving us with a second straight good weekend in august, maybe not as hot but at least it's trending drier. we will see where that goes at 11:00. >>

they are mainly up the hudson valley coming through westchester into putnam and dutchess county heading to the east, fairfield county, slow cruising line of showers and storms and putting down a lot of rain in a short period of time, looks like what widened coming through, it could be run along the lie because the rain will provide ponding on the roadways and localized flooding along the jersey shore. the line doesn't seem to be making quick progress. is stalling and out for us here but that is what we expect, the frontal boundary to push off shore and hang out for a little while. even though most of us see drier conditions to the east it looks and the front makes its way off shore. and at central park in poughkeepsie, in monticello, dew points has still very high, we should see drier air working into that area but right now the dewpoint is at 71, pretty good number in the of received range but drier air behind this front is working its way in and it will take some time to get your. altogether the front is offshore, high pressure does knows its way in on the future cast and clear skies
