snow showers or bands of snow going from dutchess county towards hartford and left over around long island with more as you see with our moving animation. here's where the heavier snow is in the boston area. it's strafing the coast of maine. these snow showers will arrive as the night goes along. this is the next system coming through. eventually that system will sort of get going off to the south and east. that's the storm it went through as it moves to the north and east. if this storm, which was here, came about here, we would have been in a lot of trouble, a blizzard like you wouldn't believe. that has moved along. we watch this system along the coast. that will move to the south and east. it's where this trough and this line of low pressure will sort of set up into tomorrow, that's the tough part of the forecast. occasional light snow or intermittent light snow, 31 lunchtime. we'll stop about 33 as we get into the afternoon. take a look at the futurecast. this is what we'll have to watch and see how north it gets. snow showers through the first half of wednesday and thursday we'll hav

say it feels about 22, 17 degrees from riverdale down to manhattan, 16 long island and around dutchess county. that will feel warm compared to what's coming. we have a windchill watch. it looks like a little half circle. that is the arctic air that sweeps in. by noon, it will be 20, 25 miles per hour. some places 45 mile-per-hour gust in the afternoon. so windchills just drop like a rock tomorrow. tomorrow is going to be at 3 below to 19 below by the time we get to 1:00 on saturday. we're looking at windchills generally overall as we go into saturday afternoon, saturday night and into sunday. 10 to 20 below, coastal connecticut and rochester county. 10 to 20 below into sunday morning as we get farther out to the north and west suburbs. we will probably set, you know, a new record high. so some of these factors are sunday. that will tie a 100-year-old record. like last year in february, the temperature was 2 degrees on the 20th. the last time we had a zero degree day is way back in '94. you need to wear a lot of layers and know the signs of we'll talk about more of it coming up. >> thank you,

putnam county, sullivan, ulster, dutchess county. maybe more than that in some spots. nassau and suffolk counties, closer to the storm. another storm moving through tuesday and maybe even into wednesday. nothing major about the snow but it could impact several commutes. starting tomorrow morning. you can see on storm tracker, high pressure with us for today. lots of sun. the storm is not far away. this is our storm across the southeast. our first coastal low moving up the coast as the day goes on. there's another upper trough moving through the upper midwest up. if they did, this could be a major nor'easter for us. since they're not, this is moving too fast. this will mainly stay out to sea before the next area of energy arrives. it's not going to pull it back to the coast as it could. it's going to be april glancing blow for places like long island and the jersey shore. the next low will track across the great lakes tomorrow into tuesday. then another low forms along with that energy. we're going o track that as well. temperatures in the 20s across eastern long island.
