. >>> and dylan dreyer from our boston station whdh is joining us this morning with the latest on the heat wave. good to have you this morning. >> wonderful to be here. thank you very much. i'm happy to say we're finally going to get some relief from this brutal heat wave. i mean, it's not going to be perfect today, but today's our transition day. we are going to see temperatures start cooling off instead of widespread heat warnings across the area, instead we're seeing heat advisories still now pushing into the ohio river valley and it is still muggy. we're not looking at total relief here, but, today is our transition day. we're still in the upper 70s. feels like we're in the upper 70s with the humidity. it will be a little bit muggy. tomorrow looks awesome. we're looking at normal temperatures to work back into the northeast. this dip in the jet stream is going to bring us the relief we have been waiting for. but the west is going to deal with the brutal heat with temperatures out that way about 10 to 15 degrees above average. here, though, especially across the eastern great lakes
