our meteorologist dylan dreyer is here monitoring all of this. hey, dinl good evening. >> good evening, savannah. a tornado was spotted at midway airport. that tornado warning has expired, but we do have flash flood warnings in the chicago area where rain is falling at rates of about two inches per hour. this is part of a cold front that extends right down into texas. but folks in texas are really keeping an eye on what could become tropical storm bill. it's expected to make landfall tomorrow morning but as it moves over land it is expected to intensify. that brown ocean effect where it actually takes the moisture from the record-setting rain we saw in may and uses it to intensify the rain we're going to see through the day tuesday, tuesday night and into wednesday. we could see as much as a foot of rain in some areas. this could lead to life-threatening flooding and a dangerous amount of rain is most likely going to spread into the midwest by the end of the week. savannah. >>> a lot of fear up and down the eastern seaboard after two young swimme
