jennifer eagan joins us live with breaking details. jen, those cases are not bereaved to be connected at this point we understand? >> jennifer: kris, they don't appear to be. during a traffic stop. shootings took place in san antonio, texas, st. louis, gladstone, missouri, and sanibel, florida. the most recent attack in gladstone, missouri, a police officer was shot during a traffic stop overnight. police say that officer and two suspects were shot. one of those suspects has died. the conditions of both the officer and the other suspect are unknown at this time. in texas, a manhunt is under way after a police detective was ambushed and killed. this is a picture of the suspect they're searching for. detectives benjamin marconi was writing a ticket outside another car pulled up from behind, shot him and the driver took off. marconi was a 20-year veteran of the force. in st. louis, the suspect is dead after shooting a police sergeant last night. investigators say the officer was sitting in traffic when a driver pulled up and opened fire.
