butjust here in london's earls court, in this unassuming building, there is a ray of hope.e creating opportunities for some of these refugees in their new restaurant, whose name means dream. the restaurant is very much a work in progress but they are dreaming big. and every effort is being taken to evoke the spirit of ukraine. this is the bar area. this wall will look like the wall in old houses in ukrainian villages when they didn't have proper building materials and they were using straw and clay. so it will be uneven, very authentic way how ukrainians used to build the houses. we arrive to london five days before the war started. for us it was a short work visit and we have return tickets which we never used. when the war started we made a decision to stay here. and how did you feel at that point because you are stranded here and you had close friends and family in ukraine? all the time since the 24th of february you are receiving just bad news and it's very, very exhausting. since they've been in the uk, they have helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for ukraine

court and the constitution for 60 years. i've seen it go through cycles. it swings widely. i remember when the birch society had signs up to impeach earl warren and bill douglas. when the right was upset at the left swing of the supreme court. now the left is concerned about the right swing of the supreme court. we have to respect the institution. we have to remember that these justices stand for the rule of law. we may criticize the decisions. that is fine. when my former colleague bruce warren trashes the supreme court as an institution, that will do tremendous damage. this country will come back to hurt her and her liberals. today the attack comes from the left. tomorrow it might come from the right. those of us who love the rule of law, a rule that we celebrate on july 4th, have to stand by our institutions as institutions. yes, criticize a particular decision and try to do better next time. yes, think about whether you can do legislation. but don't trash the court as an institution. don't do what my other former colleague said, pack the court. let the democrats in. soon the supreme court will sit in yankee stadium with 30,000 just

earl warren scholar, who provided the -- in the brown b, v board. justice warren was a republican. i want to be very clear that we are not standing here trying to characterize the court as democratic or republican. what we are saying is, we characterize it as the last refuge for justice. i reject at hand any comparison to the court packing of the 1940's. this is not court packing. this is a constitutional privilege that we have. there's no debate that under constitutional structure, congress has the power and responsibility to regulate the size of the supreme court. we are not doing our job. i stand against any interpretation that we are packing the court. i probably ran to be one of the first cosponsors of hank johnson's legislation. and to support the 13 justices. it is important to note that for more than 50 years, most justices have been appointed by republican presidents. even though the gop candidates lost the popular vote in seven of the last eight elections. republican presidents appointed 15 of the last 19 justices. the correct port's majority -- the current quartz majority -- current court's majority was appointed -- the american people could still look to
