for the east bay, it's up to 100 in walnut creek and mid to upper 90s across much of the inland easty, it's in the upper 80s still. in daly city, expect it to reach 80 degrees. palo alto will reach a high of 88. in san francisco, in the upper 70s downtown, mission district reaching 80 degrees. up to 95 in novato, with some mid to upper 90s across much of the rest of the north bay. as we take a look ahead, we're going to have big changes going into the weekend. an area of low pressure that will bring in just briefly a chance of showers on friday and much cooler temperatures for a little while. so as we run the model out to see how much rain could we get out of this, it does show most of it staying to the east of us. but there's still a chance that at least along the coastline we could see enough drizzle and light rain to add up to a little bit of something. so maybe a few hundredths of an inch. and this coming along with some much cooler temperatures. take a look at the changes, going from hot, hazy, smoky today, in the upper 90s inland, to mid-80s tomorrow. then mid-70s on friday and
