the east bay. there's one thing coming to our rescue this morning, though. it has been some relatively strong winds out of the delta that's moderating temperatures for some areas. so we've got quite a mix of 30's to 40's mountain view, redwood city hayward and fremont in the 30's. well, breezy spots like fairfield in pittsburgh actually holding on to the mid 40's right now in the meantime, conquered you fall into 35 degrees nevado petaluma as well as fairfax down into the 30's as well in those windier areas that tends to mix some of those colder layers out and keeps those areas a bit more mild. that's why vacaville fairfield in napa actually still holding on to 40's rather than 30's. as for radar skies, stay clear and dry. and you can expect a lot more of that this weekend. nothing really coming through to interrupt that sunshine. so get outside plans. some outdoor activities just make sure you've got your layers as you're doing. so as for bridges were still nice, an empty out their 04:00am and friday light love to see a 7 minute drive across the bay bridge

so still right around 12,000 without power there in the east bay. depends on where you are. if you're inland right along 6.80, corridor, there is not a lot of activity. but as you head out towards the shoreline, especially north of the bay bridge through albany, berkeley, richmond, that's where we're seeing those outages begin to add up now for the east bay in its entirety, it was 7800 without power. now it's down to 7600. so they had about 200 customers resumed with or had power resume for them. but in the north bay, this is where they're having the hardest time restoring power. a lot of these outages are up in the hills. a lot of trees. lot of power lines that snake through trees. so it's pretty difficult work for them, especially when the winds are still high. so there has been a lot of progress there. they're still looking at about 22,000 customers without power. they will get a better chance when the winds die down later today to get out there and try and get some work done tomorrow will be a bter day. john was talking about the winds died down for friday. so that will b

east bay, 37. san francisco, low 40s and some of the chili is weather in the north bay at 36. through tomorrow will not warm up a whole lot. it will stay chili with 52 in santa rosa and 54 in livermore and 56 in san jose. most of the day we are okay. we are dry here at least through the morning midday and early afternoon for a lot of the bay area then by the evening we will get in on those rain chances. so two important things i want to talk about on this storm system for tomorrow that will make it different from every other storm we have been through. there is no atmospheric river with it to boost up the totals. it's also moving a lot faster. it's going to limit those rainfall totals as well. you can see it. 3:30, some spotty showers in the north bay. this should calm your nerves a little bit even though we have heavier pockets at 6:00 p.m., watch how fast this is going to move. getting to the peninsula and east bay by 8:00 p.m. then down towards san jose by 10:00 and then as we head 11:30 it's beginning to exit out here or towards gilroy. total it will be a lot less -- look
