now to the other developing story out of the east bay. the fact that we've got a whole lot of people, thousands of people still without power in open because of a transformer that blew. now that outage is affecting homes and businesses before while was also delayed flights at the oakland airport as will tran. following the latest. and luckily been telling us the airport seems to be getting back on track down. >> flights might be delayed but you can't blame it on the power outage. everything is smooth this morning out of oakland international. you can see people being picked up and dropped off. not a problem, but for a 4 hour window. >> everything came to a screeching halt because yes, those airplanes they take off with fuel. but you still need power to go through all the checkpoints and make the airport itself run. and they didn't have that yesterday because of this. a blown transformer that happened at the 50th and coliseum substation. it caught fire and because of that ripple effect all across the east bay, particularly oakland and alam
