you can see we're now up into the teens in parts of the east bay in the north bay, 10 to 12 miles per so. if you are headed out, just definitely take a jacket with you. cause of that wind gets whipping. you're going to want one. here is what's happening out of half moon bay. we've got the clouds are kind of hanging out there. they've been there all day today, but we're going to see them picking up all across the bay area as we get into tonight. tomorrow, we've got an early shower chance. and then wednesday, a little chance of some scattered showers, too. so let me show you how that plays out. we go through tonight here come the clouds. then tomorrow morning, we wake up. we've got a little shot of some showers that about 7.30, tomorrow morning. so you can see these are very light and variable the probably enough to make the roads wet as we go throughout the morning. not too bad in the afternoon. here's wednesday morning, starting cloudy. and then you can see as we get later into the day on wednesday. yet another round of the showers coming in. and so we kind of stay unsettled throughou

we've got a little bit more over the east bay shore and into the inner east bay.right over the santa cruz mountains. we started out this morning with rain snow mix over mount hamilton, but it looks like it's melting fairly quickly. there will be snow continuing in the sierra, and there is a winter travel advisory in the sierra until tomorrow afternoon. our advisory is for our coastline, a high surf advisory that goes until tomorrow night. but here's a look at the system. if you notice or observe very closely, you can see kind of a circular motion going on. that's the low passing through. and that is what is triggering that possibility of the thunderstorms, very unstable air coming along with that. here's a look at noontime. notice we are mainly dry but rolling into sunset just after 6:00. we still have that possibility of a few scattered showers out there. so with that said, pop up showers the risk of maybe a few thunderstorms, especially during the morning hours. but for the most part, your day is going to be dry and it's going to be nice. it's going to be cool,

here's your view outside from the east bay hills, looking down into the bay. plenty of sunshine all across the bay area. for the sierra, we did see a good dose of weekend snow, especially for the central and southern sierra and saw some showers for socal neighbors. this is all good news because it does look like our next area of low pressure will actually be resulting in much the same, much needed rain and snow for the areas that really need it. most. we could see a few maybe isolated sprinkles come tuesday. i'm feeling like it's looking very unlikely. wednesday. the nature of the system is so similar to what we saw over the weekend, which will bring a lot of rain to the central coast and the central, the southern sierra. some snowfall. but the bay-area you'll notice we kinda sit it out. a lot of this energy just skirts around us. so where is the sierra does see some good snow. southern california. see some good rain. the bay just on the lighter side of things will dry out into the weekend after that with next week, looking very likely to bring a much more sig
