so in terms of the wind advisory, it's the santa cruz mountains, diablo range, east bay hills, and to the interior hills and mountains of the north bay. and here's a look at the peak wind speeds, which will be increasing tonight into tomorrow morning. if you're in those hilltop communities, if you're out around, let's say, camino tassajara, danville area, the noise of the wind might wake you up tonight. peak wind speeds picking up for the first hf of saturday. and then the wind eeds do start to dial back as we head into your sunday forecast. but notice the wind direction here. it is gusty and offshore. w we're thankful we've had some pretty good rain totals so far this season, so that is kind of suppressed. the fire danger locally. wind speeds will start to come down and we'll lose that wind advisory as we head into sunday. saturday morning temperatures will be in the 40s and highs again for the afternoon. pretty good temperature recovery. san jose southward seeing highs in the mid 60s. about 5 to 7 degrees above average for this time of year. and 60s bayside around san francisco and

and it is very present all across the bay just pushed right in and a view from the east bay hills and berkeley. there's a little bit of sunshine right over uc berkeley, but much of the rest of the city and the east bay is just so shrouded out net. as we mentioned, this dense fog advisories not just extended, but now much more widespread, all up and down the shoreline of the bay itself, the north bay and the coast. and we are expecting fog to be at least present through early afternoon. once we get to the afternoon itself, more and more sunshine will appear and it's going to be a gorgeous day. just got to get through all this fog that we are seeing out there right now. it's actually a fairly onshore breeze transitions to an offshore wind by the middle towards end of the week. and with that, temperatures will rise a little bit. do expect a little haze towards the end of the week. one thing we're not really seeing any rainfall, we stay consistently dry, not just this week, but into next week. a dry trend of weather remains through next week with no sign of anything to disrupt that really

it may get a bit windy in the east bay hills. let's bracket the two time frames here.ere's the visual. here's the wind that gets us into tomorrow, offshore wind. now i'm taking us to monday, two pulses. the first pulse of offshore wind comes through saturday. you see the time staff down there. that's saturday in the evening, so one uptick in offshore winds over the mountains and then there's another one. this one is focused on monday morning. so it switched. i'm going to hit that again to bring in the monday. maybe we've got to get rid of saturday completely. we'll let those dissolve and now bring in the monday wind and you can see how those look. it's a little more directly offshore. the monday morning stuff -- and there's our timestamp -- may be a little stronger, but still fall within the range of these numbers. so what does this mean for the rest of us down here at lower elevations? maybe a 20-mile-an-hour breeze the next two days, not constant, but picking up tomorrow night and again monday and no other change. we're not going to get rain in this scenario. we can

north bay, east bay hills, santa cruz mountains. elevations above 2000ft could see gusts above 50mph. that's the areas in purple showing up on these maps across the mountains of napa county and solano county, down along the diablo range. generally midnight tonight through midday tomorrow should be the peak of the wind. then notice as we head into the sunday forecast there, the wind speeds start to back off, but that offshore wind pattern is really drying out the air, and you're going to see the impact over the next couple of days in terms of those chilly mornings headed our way tomorrow morning. not too bad. there's enough wind to keep things stirred up. mostly 40s to start. then as we head towards the afternoon, more dry conditions, sunshine. highs in the 60s around the inner bay down towards san jose. highs in the mid 60s. now let's look at the lows 30s and low 40s. sunday morning, coldest mornings ahead monday and tuesday. we have not been this cold in a while. very likely cold enough for frost advisories to return to the forecas
