again, here's a nice little shot here in the east bay shoreline. and you can get a shot of what's going on there with some cloud cover in mixture in there. some conversation for you as well. the water colors temperatures right now into the 50's. the mid-fifties at that. of course, we're going to be dropping from that point. not a whole lot. rare is not very dry. so that's going to be the breaks for low temperatures tonight for the next few hours, we got to keep that isolated shower in there and maybe an isolated shower as we get later into tonight with most of the readings in the upper 40's. however, as we start to lose some of the energy in the atmosphere that's going to then take away some of the energy for the showers. there's that low that we had over the weekend. it's going to have its final act dropping south. probably by wednesday. and it looks like we go into a dry patch earnest into thursday. there is a closer shot of what we've got going on here. and yes, the lightning strikes you see in the central valley, sacramento valley are real. yes

first that you need to watch out for because a lot of us like the east bay shoreline, much of the north bay is fine. we do have some light showers over san pablo bay in marin county. some of those brief heavier showers stretching from between sunnyvale and santa clara on up just north of san jose to milpitas kind of just stationary hanging out there for a while. so in some spots of the south bay, you're fine. others, it's still coming down. good. we have a really fast developing cell just west of half moon bay. this is also moving its way towards the shoreline right now. so i'm going to be watching this one really closely could provide a strike of lightning or 2 and some brief heavy rainfall itself. now for a lot of us, it is going to be a fairly calm next several hours this afternoon will bring an increase in potential of thunderstorm development at the very least, some shower resurgence later on. we will be looking at a fairly calm evening. isolated showers as you go to bed and then into tomorrow morning and afternoon pockets of heavy rain. also a chance of a roll of thunder, too, for
