if your friends along the east coast they will still get pounded with that heavy along the east coast as it continues to push to the north and east. widen out the view and we have high-pressure in our area. it's keeping the clouds and rain away from us. we are looking at a fantastic weekend. sun filled and that will continue all the way through labor day and beyond. i will show you that in the eight-day forecast. here is a nice time lapse. gorgeous sunset this evening and we will see a lot of those. this is what is going on as far high pressure continues to sink to the south and it will switch the wind direction out of the south and east. so the lake won't have much of a chop and it won't be as breezy this afternoon. you can see this high is pushing off hermine off the east coast a little bit. however like a said it will sit there and spin for a couple of days. for us we are looking great. in fact, tomorrow we will pack on a couple of we reached 78 degrees and we see a lot of spots getting up to around the 80 degrees mark or above tomorrow afternoon. the only thing you will need is ju

heavier rains on the east coast. there's the tropical wave that we talked about yesterday. it's similar in the sense to what we went through with hermine. when the storm gets better organized, then all of a sudden it brings the moisture close tore it. that is what is happening right now. heavier rains on the east coast. but the problem for us is going to be over the next 12 hours as it moves north. that moisture will cut across our area. and i think our rain chances will begin to temperatures right now upper 80s to about 90 degrees. mid-80s polk county because there's more clouds there. along the coast, closer to 90 and more sunshine. outside right now, tampa checking in at 88. 87 in clearwater. st. pete 85 degrees. good deal of sunshine covering the entire area. so how are things shaping up? pretty good. a lot of folks have yi a lot of heat, a lot of humidity. but look right here, check it time. look at -- look that the spin right there. the blob is getting more organized. the hurricane center said at 5:00 that they

. >> hurricane hermine heading up the east coast, right as we speak. after hitting florida head on, 30 million people are in this storm's path. now travelers heading out to the labor day weekend are bracing for the worst. welcome, i'm trish regan in for neil cavuto and this is "your world." hurricane hermine is now a tropical storm but still a major threat as it heads east. states of emergency declared in parts of florida, georgia, and north carolina. we are all over it here. with phil keating in georgia, and rick reithmuth on where hermtime is heading next. steve harrigan is in cedar key, florida, which took the brunt of the storm,. let's begin with phil. >> reporter: you can certainly guarantee traveling along the eastern sea board this weekend will be problematic and maybe next to impossible in some cases. you'll have debris, downed trees blocking roads, could have flashflooding, and for airline travelers, our flight, for example, last night from miami to jacksonville was cancelled due to the weather. that's probably going to be happening all the wa
