this is a look at the east bay freeways and you can see even highway four is still off to a good startet's go back to the headlines. thank you. sal chp is investigating a freeway shooting in the east bay. now the gunfire was reported at about four o'clock yesterday afternoon on eastbound 5 80 in san leandro. investigators say an innocent bystander inside a car was wounded during a freeway shootout between people and two other vehicles. that victim is expected to survive. so far there have been no arrests. and they're both. ah, yes. okay okay . scary moments, a couple nearly hit by gunfire on 5 80 in oakland last month now sharing their dashcam video of the shooting. it shows a bullet smashing into their car coming within inches of hitting them. couple says the driver cut them off while they were trying to get on the freeway near the grand avenue entrance. that car sped around them, and within a few seconds they heard and felt the shot. now the couple was not hurt. no word of any arrests in that case. police say a six person has come forward to report that they were wounded in the shots
