and it looks more showers now mostly on the light side in toward the santa clara valley, the east bay. not a whole lot of rain just yet. mostly just light showers but other parts of bay area. definitely seeing the rain drops and throughout the night tonight, we're going to see these bands of moisture move on shore and you can see why you see that swirl. actually, couple swirls off the coastline. a couple areas, low pressure out there right now, one to the south and one to the north here and well, they're kind of wrapping around each other and bringing that rainfall on shore. so models have been having trouble with. i think they got a pretty good flavor for tonight as we head in towards 7 o'clock this evening. that strong band we saw moving across the santa cruz mountains, bring some heavy rainfall in a place like oakland and san leandro looks like more of that rain continuing throughout the night. so here we go throughout the night tonight, we'll be tracking thunderstorms right here on kron. 4 all night long. we don't get to see that very often. but it is active out there right now. i

santa clara valley. upper 60s along our coastline. off into the east bay, 80s this afternoon from antioch into concord with low 70s into the heart of san francisco. the air quality was not the best this morning. we will continue to monitor that but the big story for us, the rain right around the corner. looking at the models, it is not that impressive of a system. we could see some light drizzle. it is all part of an area of low pressure offshore. this is the first system bringing in clouds today. we have another area of low pressure. by the time it makes its way inland, it looks like it is starting to dissipate. here is what it is looking like this we can. cloudy skies today. showers to the north of us today. light showers, potentially impacting the north bay but we will see trickles of showers here and there into our sunday forecast and that will continue as we head into monday. much will we get? not that much. a little more impressive numbers expected for the heart of san francisco. let me drop that and show you the next seven days. right around the

east bay. we are all waking up hand in hand with upper 40s from fremont to the santa clara valley. we have 40s knot of the golden gate bridge into marin and past that too. here is what we are looking at. widespread throughout the bay area this morning we are under a wind advisory issued by national weather service until 9:00 a.m. we are seeing winds sweep in from the north, gustiest conditions on our models into the east bay in areas like fear field. but we are seeing it along the coast too. this morning this will expire around 9:00 a.m. that's not to say we are done with the winds yet. into napa, fairfield around lunchtime, gusty conditions until the evening hours tonight. then we'll just be dealing with calm conditions. this afternoon, temperatures around average and a little bit warmer throughout the bay area. into this week, a lot of them will be starting to cool down. the rest of us in the bay area and along our coastline, we are above average. let me show you what that will look like. we are starting with daytime highs today in the 60s from san francisco over into concord. 70
