all lanes now open on the dumbarton bridge eastbound and westbound after being closed on the eastbound for several hours. you can see all the highways like 8.80, to 37. >> while we still have a delay there, it's not bright rant like it was the top of the morning. all right. let's go and get different angle of that bridge right now. things are moving pretty nicely there. if you are traveling eastbound, no delays, you're not stopping on the westbound side. so that's really great news. want to check on the seven-day average for you today. if you are going to be taking that right now, things look good down to 17 minutes. we got up to 30 cause. everybody was taken that because the dumbarton bridge is closed. bay bridge are also making great time there. 13 minutes maze to that fremont street exit still got that issue of bartow, major delay between cells, san francisco and san bruno on the mill rate has a full line because of an issue on the track. there. other bridges like a richmond center fell bridge about 11 minutes. the golden gate bridge not seen any major delays. that's on the roadways

it happened just after 10:00 last night in the eastbound direction near the delaware exit. the chp says the man died at the scene. the officer and the handcuffed dui suspect in custody were not hurt . they were on their way to chp redwood city office in a white dodge charger. footage from the patrol car's dash cam captured the moment of the collision for an unknown reason. a pedestrian traveled from the shoulder across northbound northbound, across the eastbound lanes directly into the path of our officer. it is still unclear where the man came from. the officer involved has not been put on leave. the investigation is still ongoing. a man visiting san francisco for the dreamforce conference claims he was attacked in the city. according to the chronicle, chicago based doctor parmjit chopra says he was walking on market street right near the montgomery street. bart station last month when for no reason, he says, a man lunged at him and knocked him to the ground. chopra says he hurt his back but will be okay. police were called to the scene and are investigating. well, another

it shut down all lanes of eastbound 580. it has turned deadly. now the chp says one person was killed, another person was seriously hurt. and this happened about 11:00 yesterday morning on interstate 580, just east of fruit vale. one of the cars burst into flames and the flames spread to nearby vegetation. two women had to be rescued from their cars, both were taken to the hospital. one of them later died. the cause of that crash is under investigation and police in san jose now say a shooting yesterday has turned deadly. police say a man was shot at least once near a capitol expressway in monterey road yesterday afternoon. he was rushed to the hospital, but later died. the off ramp to monterey road was closed for several hours during the investigation. there's still no word about a motive or if any arrests have been made. but san jose police say they will be releasing more information soon. the alameda county board of supervisors has declared a state of emergency over homelessness. county staff now ordered to create an emergency response plan to

this happened about 10:00 last night, a chp officer in a marked cruiser was on highway 92 eastbound as they were heading towards the delaware street area. it was then that a pedestrian allegedly jumped in front of the car. it was about 10:00 last night. that pedestrian did die here at the scene, and the coroner has taken that person away to work on notifying the next of kin. again, that patrol car was a marked vehicle. this is part of highway 92 where there is no pedestrian access. the san mateo county coroner took the victim away. they died here at the scene. the incident is under investigation by the highway patrol and the multidisciplinary accident team that has more in depth training in accident reconstruction. we asked the chp for more details about why this person was on the roadway, perhaps they were having car trouble or if they were walking on the freeway, and we are waiting to hear back. they say for now everything is under investigation. in san mateo, kris sanchez for "today in the bay." >> thank you, kris. >> we did send out a push alert for this accident this morning. you
