we've been watching an easterly wind across the gulf coast, this helps to keep the oil slick just off the florida panhandle and hopefully to help with some of the efforts down there to contain that oil spill. as far as we're concerned the next weather system tries to race in here by tomorrow. high pressure, clear skies. tomorrow, generally a frontal boundary that could get a little active in the afternoon. we showed this model yesterday. it didn't really do anything in the afternoon. most of the rain was kept north of the border in through pennsylvania but this one extends through southern maryland, southeast virginia, spotty shower around baltimore. more stuff contained around philadelphia and up towards new york city but there's that threat of a brief shower tomorrow afternoon. then we clear out again and we're in pretty decent shape through friday morning. friday night and saturday different story as cold weather pattern sets in for the mothers' day weekend. 83 today is our 2-degree guarantee. we'll settle back to 59 overnight. tomorrow look for, again, a brief shower possible but

moving slowly from the south to the north with easterly component. at least the next couple hours in its same form here. there could be minor flooding here over the next couple hours as well. although, it seems so far most of the flooding has been up in southern pennsylvania. let's switch is over. take a look at this stuff on the wider view. there is a weak system in the upper levels of the atmosphere spinning through parts of ohio and west virginia and we have to wait for the core of that area of low pressure to swing through before we get the showers and thunderstorms to dissipate. again, that's going to take a couple hours. i think the weather will improve as we head into the afternoon. most likely, we will see a few breaks in the overcast come through the clouds. that will help out with the temperatures. right now we are in the mid 60's. we should be able to jump in the mid 70's later today if we get sunshine. 66 at the airport. 63 in parkton. it's pretty humid out there. the humidity is up around 90%. i am sure you will feel that as well. as we
