eastern shore, it's over. but as you can see around the central and northern sections of maryland, southern york county, baltimore and harford, that's where the heaviest rains are occurring at this time. several more hours. at least until we see this thing drizzling down. baltimore county, not the whole county. as we said, the northern baltimore and northern harford and portions of cecil and frederick county. winds are beginning to shift more away from that region. we've had a horribly wet day. tim has a look at updated rainfall numbers. >> the flood warnings are in place for a reason. bob, we're still tallying these numbers as the rain continues to fall. 2.35 inches of rain, just over two and a quarter inches. but just below that, northern baltimore county, the hereford zone, seeing 3 inches of rain. just about an inch and a half at bwi marshall. and look over toward the eastern shore. the lower right of your screen. over 5 inches of rain in ocean city. up about six inches just below that. and salisbury, we're seeing 2 inches of rain, not too much to the west in hagerstown. and each toward d.c. not quite an inch

we were already beginning to dip down in the $40. 52 now in baltimore, annapolis 61, 60 still on the eastern shore. but these temperatures i think are going to stabilize a little bit at these levels. they will begin to drop. will probably get down maybe to a few upper 40s in the suburbs. take a look at bwi this morning. i got to point it out. 47 this morning, 42 the old record low from way back in the 1950s. so you get an idea how unseasonably cool it was this morning. average temperature down to 55. we get a nice rebound topping out at 73. widespread chilly temperatures, look at that, 40 up in york, plenty of spots in p.a. this morning that dropped into the upper 0s for an hour or so. so a chilly start. we'll get a nice rebound tomorrow, high temps today in the low 70s, tomorrow toward the mid-70s, again those current temperatures out there across the board this evening. not so bad. you know, mid-50s, even some 60s, still on the map as you head west. so these temperatures, we can deal with them. we'll see a trend through the week into the 80s, only back down into the 70s for highs. rainfall
