this blizzard hit new england thursday and friday. many parts of easternons, the totals approached two feet. all of this accompanied by those absolutely frigid conditions. they made things miserable, of course. but the silver lining was because it was so cold the snow was fluffy and light, easy to shovel. and it also did not weigh down power lines. so the electricity did not go out. so these people have heat. so that made it a lot more bearable. and we talked about the coastal regions a little bit earlier. unfortunately, besides the cold temperatures, the coastal regions, got a heck of a lot of snow. right now they aren during an awful lot of flooding causing widespread power. not widespread but a lot of property damage, things like that. we checked with local authorities. so far not widespread injuries or anything like that. folks hunkering down doing their best to get through this. later in boston they tell me it will get into the 20s. that will actually feel good which is certainly scary. live downtown here in boston i'm jim smith. back to you guys. >>
