kansas. the heaviest part of this and that's coming into eastern iowa. you can see from decorah back to oelwein and waterloo the showers and storms are tracking to the east southeast and they have heavy rains for short periods of time. i expect a stronger storms are close to oelwein. not too far from likely to see half an inch to one is likely to see half an inch to 1 inch rainfalls initial period of time. it looks like the storms as they moved to the east that would be approaching oelwein, independence and into elkader. that's between now and 10 and 11 tonight. everyone expected to get in on the storms as we go to the nighttime hours. we will go to our give you an idea on how this works out. i 11:00 you can see to thunderstorms will be further southeast but they are out there. at 1:00 in the morning you can see they are covering the northern and central counties. now we're getting into three, four and 5:00 and they are scattered around eastern iowa. they should start to let it at daybreak. we will have to much rain in eastern iowa to the nighttime hours
