this is the other storm we're talking about in eastern kentucky. this is magoffin and morgan county. the warning has just been extended, so two very dangerous situations we're talking about across central kentucky. the other thing that concerns me that i'm watching at this hour is what's happening to the south and west of this line of storms. we're getting new development just outside -- there we go, just outside of the nashville area and in nashville as well. look at that, we're even starting to get signs of rotation here even though there is not a warning. nashville, you need to be on high alert, especially if you live north of there as this line of thunderstorms is now expanding and it's going to be intensifying here over the next couple of hours. and as we take a look at the big picture for the watches, the two watches that are in place for this hour -- a watch, by the way, conditions are right for tornadoes. a warning means it's happening now, seek shelter. so the watch for nashville across southern kentucky and the other one here across easter

here we g a couple of additional showers over eastern kentucky.hat area could come up and bring a few more showers later on this evening, but, again, not looking for in which the way of rain. mild hair will continue to flow in out of the south through the day tomorrow. we should get decent sunshine for the first half of the day. disturbance putting some slow down toward the cleveland area. here's our trend. later tonight with that disturbance in eastern tennessee, kentucky that could come in in the form of a few showers toward 10:00, 11:00. it's out of here for your morning commute. a few shower, perhaps even there clearing by morning. sunny early in the delay with additional clouds. tomorrow afternoon another weak disturbance with a few showers for that morning commute. then we're drying out, but much colder. the cold winds begin to blow in. some snow toward garrett county on friday night. a few showers, cool and breezy but not bad. tomorrow we're into the upper 60s. not record temperatures but some 20 degrees above average. get ready to enjoy th

really focused in across parts of eastern kentucky into northwestern north carolina and western parts and so that's where we're going to be seeing those heavy snowfall rates and really travel not advised here. overall washington, d.c., you're getting off pretty lucky with this storm. all the moisture has been staying to your south. some of this could sneak in here but we're not looking for significant accumulations. a little difficulty for your travel. even the places near that rain and snow have low overcast conditions so that makes it it tough to navigate into the area airports. there are winter storm warnings in effect here along i-77, along 81 and that's where we're expecting three to six inches of accumulation. you have to get up in elevation to start to see some of the greater numbers. for the most part we've been seeing snowfall totals on the range of two to three inches. for example, williamsburg, kentucky, looking at about two inches of snowfall. where is the system headed? this thing is going to be moving up to the north and east and kind of a fast mover up at this point. th

gerrie straight b.r.t., 16th street corridor electrification and upgrade for the eastern neighborhoods. some of these kentucky high performing lines would receive funds from this fee and that's what that additional $820 million refers to. those are other funds, prop k and otherwise that have already been identified. so we're able to leverage those to get a significant amount of improvement. in this slide here gives you an idea of the fee, where it will be spent. 65% of the majority of the fee will be spent on adding buses oreille cars. that's what that transit headway improvements and service expansion means. so on a line that is heavily used, we will be able to add service to that line and this money may also be used to maintain and repair those cars, rail cars or buses. line b there, transit reliability improvements, that refers to more traditional capital projects like for example the physical b.r.t. lane separation that will be on van he is or geary. on 16th, bus and right-of-way exclusive travel pass for buses on 16th. so then about 2% would go to regional transit providers like bart to upgrade their car
