for us, we have this cluster of showers in eastern kentucky, they are drifting northbound up into southernst virginia now. the air mass over us is relatively dry. so it will eat up most of those rain chances as they try to come in to the area. we'll be dry in the d.c. metro area for sure all the way through the daylight hours today. future weather, a gradual increase in cloud cover during the course of the afternoon today. again partly to mostly sunny for at least 3 2:00, 3:00. and then we go from partly to mostly cloudy. here is 8:00 tonight and it does hint that there could be a few isolated rain showers here primarily in the shenandoah valley and mountains of west virginia, that is 8:00 tonight. not much of a rain threat between now and then. temperature-wise, 50s and 60s again this morning. a very comfortable way to get the day started. date will be filled with sunshine for the first part again more cloud cover coming in after 4:00, 5:00. so if you headed to the nationals game, game four, we won two out of the first three, game four tonight against the marlins. perfect weather for base
