rain all the way up the eastern seaboard and we are in this very dry pattern not just here but southern california where a red flag warning remains in effect. and they're having their problems. so, there is kind of the air- quality. you can see it's kind of hazy. overnight lows tonight, it is chilly. hazy skies but these overnight lows, we are seeing mid-30s, low 30s, frosty and freezing conditions in many parts of the area. a chilly start today. the thing to note as we look at forecast highs, in the mornings and at night, like now, the inversion settles down. and so what happens is the smoke gets worse. seems worse. with that said, tomorrow morning again, and again tonight, the smoke will be at its worst. especially in the morning hours when things cool off. there is a high pressure center. this pattern continues. it's a blocked pattern so the hazy and mild conditions continue. there is nothing extreme out there and we are now looking at red flag warnings or wind advisories as we were a few days ago, but, definitely, something that we will be worried about until we get those first rain
