washington is at ten miles. down around springfield and ft. bell voer, quantico, the visibilities there diminished. upper 60s on the eastern shore where they've got more humidity. these are the dew points. dew points upper 60s to near 70 around washington points south and east. a very steamy due point in norfolk at 73 there now. we do have a few of these showers that have popped up in the last hour in the lower eastern shore, around the northern neck. those are slowly drifting off to the south and east. elsewhere we have a little bit of low cloudiness around. traveling today, maybe some flight delays around the rockies as well as the gulf coast and northern florida and perhaps up through the southern mid-atlantic states. and around the great lakes. elsewhere, though, the weather is settled. we have this stalled front just off the coast. that's going to be lingering here throughout the day today, maybe the focal point, a greater chance of some thundershowers there. but we have this high pressure area moving in from the mwest that will be slowly drifting over us over the weekend so that should diminish any chances of rain. i
