first time, and so many more stories, and those stories are the same stories that i hear in eastern washington. . a few weeks ago i was speaking to a family in spokane, washington and they are seeing $400 a month in take-home pay and grateful for that cushion because their daughter has a disability and given her needs, they don't know what the expenses may be with $5,000 in their pocket this year, they are more confident about the future and ability to care for her. i also met a dad, who manages the starbucks in downtown spokane. he was so excited about the announcement of more take-home pay and more benefits because he just had a son. they had given birth four months earlier and so hopeful about his future. when the withholding tables changed in february, i received a call in my office who could barely speak because she was so excited about what an extra $40 was going to mean to her. i just got my paycheck for the first time and getting $47.98, which is about $1,200 more a career. for me, they are not crumbs. it's more money to help me put food on the tail. i'm so happy, i wanted to tell the
