police are putting people they take into custody at the east maund station at 7 -- eastmont station at 73rd and concord. they said they took in custody less than ten people. they say it's not how many people they arrested but the message the officers send. >> reporter: officers stepped out of their vehicles armed with a list of 70 names. we're going after individuals who are on probation and parole, people involved in at- risk bafner and violent crimes. >> reporter: it's called "operation sunrise" and not just because the raids began this morning. but about complaints about robberies, shoots and prostitutions along an elementary school and high school. >> reporter: this man said he didn't call to complain but can verify the complaints. >> i don't think the children should have to put up with the prostitutes hanging around the streets. >> reporter: police from the housing and authority were joined by housing cops and state parole agents. they came looking for four people on the list and any counter band they could find in the -- counter ban they could find in the area. >> remove an elem
