we're steady he at 16 in easton and closer to 15 in baltimore. gusts at the top of the hour were around 20 to 28. earlier today those dust were quite a bit higher. let's take a look at some peak wind gusts columbia 37 we gifted to near 40 in rock haul and galena 36. gusting to near 40 in georgetown. mount airy you gusted up to 34 earlier today. windchill as we speak is still very chilly he. feeling like 20s and low 30s. this is just captured with one time frame of wind. so if you're out and gust up a little higher the windchill can quickly drop into the teens. by the way extremely dry. so you probably need to maybe run the humidifier and use some lip balm it's going to be ex- streamly dry and blustery. we could see upper 40s south of the city. woods lawn on down through anne arundel and howard counties. temperatures will push into the upper 40s. snow showers right now showing up in western pennsylvania. our friends up there have that. back here just partly cloudy skies and again, a quick moving weather pattern but one that's not bringing in any r

easton on the eastern shore. what weather in ohio and northwestern pennsylvania. it will get here, but it will take several more hours. after midnight, showers become more likely. for really mild up and down the eastern seaboard, but very cold off to the west. the front in between these two air masses triggering the but weather, that will slide into baltimore tonight and early tomorrow and slowly made its way to the coast on wednesday. 6 in denver right now. contrast that to our 50's here. all the way up to boston, 66 degrees. in the teens right now around amarillo, texas, and in the 30's all the way to el paso. tomorrow, in the transition zone as the wet weather is likely. there's a chance for some wet weather on wednesday. the best chance for rain will be a bit further south. note the cold air coming into the west. as the cold air crosses the mountains and reaches us, some of the western grain could change into light snow. i would not be surprised if we get a burst of snow in the early morning hours thursday. by thursday afternoon, the system is gone, the skies

mary's and charles county, more rain where you have plenty in easton. as we take a look at the current conditions in baltimore, not a lot of wind. south breeze, warm conditions. after sunset, 62. winds are southwest at seven. tough visibilities at times as we continue to see the mist, drizzle and fog. wet roads and traffic headaches. that's been the scenario just about all day long. you see the temperatures on the eastern half of the state running in the low 60s, 50s to the west. eve out in the maryland mountains -- even out in the maryland mountains, temperatures solid. there is a window, but it comes through the middle of the night tomorrow night. it does look like a brief window. winds out of the south bringing up very warm air. so the temperatures are warm. visibility is reduced to half of normal, although from frederick west to hagerstown, restricted visibility. that south breeze is keeping the dense fog from developing. southern maryland to the eastern shore. there's or rain to the south. this whole system will continue to pump rain into the area

at 40 degrees, we could see the lights from arundel, holding at 40 this morning. 38 baltimore, 48 easton thick fog on the eastern shore, many delays crawling at the bottom of the screen with the schools impacted as a result. warm and moist airstreaming ahead of the front. that's locked in place since yesterday and staying there for today. following that frontal boundary, slow progress to the east. already dropping not only heavy rain, rain turning over to snow on the west side of dallas texas and western northern texas, snow, that is a sign of a lot of energy riding up the front and take most of the moisture to our north, by the time the boundary reaches us, it loses its steam. the question is what happens did the front stall out? few computer models hinting, which is important, because if the front clears us out, we wind up with a dry mild day. if the storm system develops, this is a wednesday morning time stamp. forward a day, we could be dealing with rain to snow issue on thursday. then that brings in questions, will we get piled up. thick morning fog. fog overnight. sprinkles. hangin
