right now temperature in baltimore 50 degrees, more of the aim in easton. also hagerstown, frederick, 46 degrees now in winchester. these temperatures are going to be closer to normal today. even your high temperatures although still slightly above where we should be now for this time of the year. satellite and radar picking up on the clouds still hovering but the rain has pushed out. we got about .16 of an inch of rain yesterday and hopefully we'll get even more into the weekend. but for today, high pressure is going to do its thing once again and begin to build in. and as we go into the weekend we will have a cold front back up there towards the north: this will slide in here saturday and no could combine with an area of low pressure traveling up the coast here. picking up on it at this early stage and keep monoforring it for you but there's the cold front as we go into saturday. if you have some activities earlier in the morning, do it then. we still could be seeing maybe a little bit of drizzle and sprinkles starting to form but the bulk of the activity

it's 37 easton and even easton and denton places like that could be seeing a little frost this morning with culpeper at 32. gaithersburg 34 and the tappahannock airport at 33. locally 32, sterling, reston 33 and we know it's frosty there and like like in gaithersburg and laurel and college park at 35 could be seeing some frost with baden and andrews all at 34 degrees. outside on the michael and son weather camera, clear skies and a little bit lighter. just a half hour or so from the sunrise. 33 and the dew point at 31. clear skies overhead this morning but some of the showers and storms that you see up in the great lakes, they hold together we may see an isolated shower or two overnight tonight. see this cloud feature coming across? that may spit out a shower or two. tomorrow afternoon we'll look especially south and southwest of town is where the threat of a few showers could pop up through the evening hours but i think our next chance of rain here in the metro area may hold off until late in the weekend or even early next week. it's dry and no big changes headed our way. pleasant, 69

we are south easton, southeast asian, and filipino.he leaders in our community who are here with us tonight, leaders of our benevolent associations, our business associations, and our commissioners. we cannot do what we do in city hall without all of you. we know we have come a long way. it was not long ago that chinese americans were excluded under our city laws. when japanese americans were interned. when filipino tenants were evicted from the international hotel. when the fbi investigated our community. for us to stand here now is amazing. i think finally we have enough asian americans to form our own dragon dance team. it would be a short dragon, but a dragon dance team nonetheless. we would not be here and be able to do that but for the support we have and the work we are all doing together. doing together. thank you all for being here,
