dc 96, easton the hot spot at 99. it's more humid on the eastern shore with all that water, but easton now with the north wind and some moisture their heat index is around 105, 106. we're looking at a heat index around 99 to 100. it's about the same as it was yesterday. the temperatures about one degree warmer. a north wind around 6. the winds are light, not a big breeze. we had just enough wind today to drag down some drier air from aloft. our relief is coming in the form of this front to the west. before we get to that, there's a disturbance south of florida, it's been sitting there for a couple of days. it's expected to head to the northwest. it will probably become a tropical depression. by the weekend if it becomes a tropical storm it will be debby heading towards the texas coast. we will keep monitoring that. for our region this front out of the west, showers and storms, part of the same system that caused all the rain in minnesota. showers and storms crossing chicago and detroit right now. that will be in our r
