eckley police are responding to a shooting on prince street. alex savidge just arrived on scene. alex, i'm sure there's a lot of unanswered questions at this point in time that we just talked about the shooting yesterday in berkeley. and the was a gunman on the loose. any indication this may be related? >> none whatsoever. in fact, we have not been able to speak with any of the officers at the scene. that is certainly one question we will ask. we don't know if there is a connection. let me show you the scene behind us. a man and a woman were sitting in this car parked on the street, both of them were shot and now have life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting. this car is parked on tremont street near prince street. this is not far from the ashby bart station here in south berkeley. berkeley police received calls about gunfire in this area around 1 am this morning. we do not know what may have prompted this shooting, what the motive may have been. we are waiting to find out and get more information from police to see if they have description of the shooter. we do unde
