ed harrington is here today. dpw, community ambassadors program, muni, our police department, and cdbg, our mayor's office of housing. it is all part of the way in which we should do business, getting collaboration as well. so that when we meet with neighborhood leaders here, they know they have got connections to every single agency. when we work with sf ci5tty and quarter and eight permits online. when we do things like an event parklets and make those successful and accessible. or use money to create an even better coffee shop that will come here to san bruno. it is going to come very soon. we have leadership in place. we have coronation. funding is in the works. -- we have coordination. we're on a positive scales in our economy. i am going to use the additional revenues we see coming into this city. make sure we do it and use it smartly. we are going to invest in our community challenge grant program that has been so successful all along this corridor. they have worked magic with the neighborhood groups that

you and barbara, ed harrington, you have done a great job.i was city administrator, asked mayor newsom if i could do the ev's. i liked working with our department of environment, with melanie, with bob and others. they sat down and spend some good time talking about innovation for the city as to how we can get off of oil. i am glad the day that -- today that the chairman is here. a year ago, we announced that we wanted 100 of these charging stations placed throughout all of the public garages. that was the strongest signal that we could give that we were going to pave the way and be supportive of the national movement and be the bay area leaders of the ev revolution. we have 49 of these stations placed. does a wonderful goal. before the end of this year, we'll have them -- an additional 33. we see that the private sector has also joined in. we have hotels, parking garages that are privately owned and other public areas where private interests are saying that they would like to install these ev chargers for their customers. in fact, one of my

ed harrington won a lifetime achievement award. they created a video we should put up on our web site, but yet another high honor for sf park. the world's eyes are upon us and what we are doing, largely in a favorable way and i want to commend the staff folks, including the ones who are recognized for their groundbreaking work. sunday streets -- i should have mentioned in my last report. they had their kickoff of that on march 11. it was a 5.5 mile route along the embarcadero. the skies cleared and people came out and it was a very good day. we have no issues in terms of parking control or manage and. we had folks out there doing on the spot out of reach and data gathering, it was a great and successful event and we look for to the same kind of success on april 15 in golden gate park. the sunday street season is officially open. the last item as we have scheduled our centennial kickoff. it was on december 28 that muni was founded the first real public transit system and the country. this is our centennial year and we are kicking of

also, ed harrington for nominating me. also, a special thanks to my family. mason, kelly, tray, my wife, naomi, my sister joy, and my mother-in-law. they have been supporting me for a long time. behind this individual all board, there's a team of people that are responsible for making things happen. just for a moment, i want the puc to raise their hand and give a shout. we have a lot of folks who really committed in making the systems wwork. again, we have billions of dollars that we are entrusted with delivering in a timely way, which needs to be within budget. systems like this will really elevate and make it really transparent that we are delivering these programs in a very conscious and deliberate way so we can save the ratepayers' money. with that, i just want to thank you guys for this award. thank you.
